The Finish Lineby Justin Lawrence

LISTEN / WORDS / CHORDS / ABOUT / PDF /

When this life is over
I'll gently take Your hand
Look into the depths
of the Father's eyes
and see Him smile

I've nothing to be afraid of
With Jesus at my side
I'll run this race complete
to the finish line

Game Over?

One day, seconds after our hearts beat for the last time, something unknown will happen.
Will it be a gentle decay as we fertilise the Earth, or will it be something more? Will that scene be like a scene from "Schindler's list", where we're full of regret for how we spent our time and money? What do you imagine it might look like?

I'm fascinated with death and what's on the other side. I wonder what became of Steve Jobs, Ghandi and C.S. Lewis.

This song is my simple hope for how it might all end when the world caves in.
